A distinguished news producer in Thailand, Dr. Tri Bunchua has been a trailblazer in embracing community engagement in media. He introduced the Australian rating system to the industry, advocating for consumer rights, media literacy, and accessibility for disabled individuals. His work aligns with Sustainable Development Goals and regional initiatives, covering aspects like consumer rights, product safety, scam awareness, and much more. He’s also been instrumental in integrating media literacy into school and university curricula, nurturing critical thinking skills. Dr. Tri is an expert in improving accessibility in television programming, ensuring it’s inclusive for all.

๐Ÿ“š Education: Ph.D. in Economics and Finance, Curtin University, 2013
๐ŸŒŸ Outstanding Contributions:
Dr. Papaporn Chunhachatrachai, a dedicated civil servant, has made substantial contributions to government projects and fiscal planning. Her academic journey, including a Ph.D. from Curtin University in Australia, has equipped her with insights that benefit her work for Thailand. She has represented Thailand in international committees and earned the Women Award in Civil Servant Career from the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare on International Women’s Day 2015.

For events organised by the Australian Embassy, AAA Thailand will submit names of alumni members to the embassy on a rotation basis. However, the final decision as to which alumni are invited rests with the Australian Embassy.
