M.L. Laksasubha Kridakon stands as a distinguished leader, her influence shaping both corporate and educational landscapes in Thailand. As the President of the Australian Alumni Association Thailand since March 2023, she fosters a vibrant network among Australian alumni. Notably, M.L. Laksasubha made history as the first Thai female President of the Australian-Thai Chamber of Commerce (March 2022 – March 2023), a testament to her transformative leadership.


M.L. Laksasubha’s remarkable journey reflects her culturally diverse background as the daughter of a diplomat. She has lived in various countries, including France, Argentina, Hungary, and Australia, and graduated from the University of Canberra with a degree in Politics within the field of Social Sciences. Despite being accepted into the Australian National University for postgraduate studies, family commitments led her back to Bangkok, solidifying her enduring alumni connection with Australia.


Upon returning to Bangkok, M.L. Laksasubha Kridakon embarked on a multifaceted career path. She served as a Research Assistant at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP) for seven years and later assumed a unique role as the spouse of the first Thai Ambassador to the Czech Republic in Prague for three years. Subsequently, she transitioned into entrepreneurship, becoming the Owner and General Manager of Laksasubha Hua Hin Resort, a luxurious beachfront establishment with 65 rooms. Her commitment to holistic education is exemplified by her ownership of The First Steps International Pre-School (1994 – 2015), which offered a trilingual curriculum. M.L. Laksasubha’s journey signifies a remarkable fusion of leadership, entrepreneurship, and educational innovation, leaving an enduring impact on Thailand’s landscape.

For events organised by the Australian Embassy, AAA Thailand will submit names of alumni members to the embassy on a rotation basis. However, the final decision as to which alumni are invited rests with the Australian Embassy.
