A wonderful day of the Australian Alumni 2024 ASEAN round table in Bangkok on 25th March 2024

We’re thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of the inaugural ASEAN Australian Alumni Connectivity 2024 Round Table, where representatives from all 11 countries came together in full attendance.

Throughout the session, valuable recommendations were put forth, paving the way for future collaborations and initiatives within our ASEAN Australian Alumni community. But the journey doesn’t end here – these recommendations will be diligently followed up by our dedicated working group, ensuring that our collective efforts continue to make a meaningful impact.

Special thanks to the Australian Government, Ambassador Dr. Angela McDonald, and our esteemed guests Khun Enid Chua, Khun Charintip Pimphan, and Khun Jane Racancoj from the Australian Embassy for their invaluable support and contributions. We’re also immensely grateful to Dr. Piti Srisangnam, Chair of the ASEAN Foundation and Alumni Award winner, whose guidance and facilitation during the working group sessions were instrumental in shaping our discussions.

As we reflect on this momentous occasion, we’re filled with pride and gratitude for the unity demonstrated by all Australian Associations, Councils, and University representatives in the ASEAN region. Together, we’re forging stronger bonds and paving the way for impactful joint collaboration projects.

Stay tuned as we embark on this exciting journey together, building a brighter future for our ASEAN Australian Alumni community!

Since 2016, admission to AAA Thailand events have been free of charge. However, the AAA Thailand Committee reserves the right to charge nominal fees for certain events from July 2020 onwards. For events organised by the Australian Embassy, AAA Thailand will submit names of alumni members to the embassy on a rotation basis. However, the final decision as to which alumni are invited rests with the Australian Embassy.
