Celebrating “Young Alumni Talent Award” (Culinary Arts-Bangkok) | Australian Alumni Award 2024

The Australian Alumni Association extends its heartfelt congratulations to the recipients of the 2024 Australian Alumni Awards.

We are proud to recognize Ms. Puntip Attakanwong, Head Chef and Owner of Mad Beef in Bangkok, with the Young Alumni Talent Award (Culinary Arts – Bangkok).We are proud to recognize Mrs. Ladawan Lehmann, Managing Director of Spunky Food Co. Ltd., with the Alumni Entrepreneurship Award.

Ms. Puntip Attakanwong has established Mad Beef as a sustainability-focused restaurant, promoting mindful eating and waste reduction. Her innovative culinary concept highlights the use of premium Australian beef and produce as key ingredients, celebrating the connection between Australian and Thai culinary cultures. Her commitment to sustainability and exceptional cuisine sets a new standard in the Bangkok dining scene.

[She completed a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Technology Sydney in 2008 and a Diplôme de Cuisine at Le Cordon Bleu in 2011, both in Sydney, Australia.]
